The ASIS Canadian Pacific Chapter 190 (BC) is pleased to support the upcoming The University of British Columbia Security Forum taking place on May 13, 2026 at UBC Robson Square.

This full-day forum is designed for operational security professionals who want to strengthen their skills, learn from experienced practitioners, and connect with peers across the security community.

The program will bring together local and international experts covering important topics shaping the future of our profession, including:

Threat assessment and targeted violence prevention
Mental health and substance use in public safety environments
Large-scale event security and multi-agency coordination
Artificial intelligence and the future of security operations
Leadership, resilience, and professional development

Participants will hear from leaders across public safety, global security programs, and international organizations, including expertise from the U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center.
